Who should attend the course?

All qualified accountants working in business.

All members of professional accountancy and tax bodies.

What happens if I need to transfer my course booking to another date/ course location this year?

If you wish to transfer your booking to a different event date, your request to do so must be agreed in advance of the original course date. We will endeavour to accommodate your request but will be made at our discretion. Where such a transfer is agreed, an administration fee of £150 per transfer may be charged.

What happens if I, in the unlikely event, need to cancel my course booking?

If you wish to cancel your booking, your cancellation request must be received in writing no later than 21 days before the date of the event. If you do so no later than 21 days before the date of the event, you will be charged a 20% cancellation fee.

If you cancel less than 21 days before the event, the full fee will be payable.

What time is registration on the first day?

Registration starts and refreshments are served from 8.30 – 9.00am on Day 1.

Any changes to the programme or course times will be confirmed in your joining instructions, sent out one week prior to the course.

What time does the course finish on each day?

Day 1 finishes at 5pm and day two at 4.45pm.

Is there parking available at the venue? If so is there a cost? 

Except for Sofitel London St. James, all other course venues do have parking facilities. Some of these are complimentary and others do have parking charges to be settled by the attendee on departure.

Details of charges will be provided in your joining instructions, sent to you one week prior to each course date.

How far is the venue from the nearest station?

Access details for each venue will be communicated to registered attendees through their joining instructions, sent to each delegate one week prior to the course date.

Can I arrange an extra night’s accommodation?

Yes you can but you, the attendee, will need to arrange the extra night’s booking directly with the venue.

The venue will bill your requested extra evening’s accommodation and any extras directly to you, to be settled on departure.

Can I upgrade my room?

Yes you can but you, the attendee, will need to arrange the room upgrade directly with the venue.

The venue will bill the difference between the room type booked by Wolters Kluwer and that of the upgraded room rate you have requested and any extras directly to you to be settled on departure.

Is catering provided for me at the event

As a day delegate you will, as part of your booking, get complementary access to -
- Arrival refreshements, inluding teas, coffee and pastries.
- Mid-morning and mid-afternoon refreshments including teas, coffee, pastries and/or buscuits.
- Lunch, normally served from the buffet.
- Water is served during the above refreshment times as well as throughout the course in the meeting room.

As a residential delegate you will also get complementary access to -
- An evening meal included in a group residential dinner booking during the evening of the first day of the event. All other dinner arrangements made by yourself will be charged to you sepeartely and be included in your individual billing arrangements directly with the veneue checkout.

Do you cater for speific dietary requests?

We provide standard UK hotel catering optons with regards to dietry requirements. We ask that you tell us of your dietry needs at the time of booking.

Do you cater for specific dietary requests?

We provide standard UK hotel catering options with regards to dietary requirements. We ask that you to tell us of your dietary needs are at the time of booking.

How many CPD units will this course provide?

The course gives you 14 points or 14 hours (depending on your institute requirement) towards your CPD record annually.

When will I receive my joining instructions?

You will receive these via email one week prior to the course starting date.

When will I receive my course certificate?

You will receive an email during the course inviting you to provide your course feedback online.

You must complete this before your certificate is sent to you.

Once we receive your feedback we will send you your certificate normally within 24 hours after the course.

Are there any ongoing benefits to attending a course?
