Additional Tax Support for January 2019
To help our customers over the busy tax season we’ve extended Tax support opening times. As in previous years, we will be there to handle any last minute queries that you may have. These additional hours/days will be covered by members of our usual Tax support team.
Our extra Tax support service will be available:
Thursday 24th January – 9.00am to 6.30pm
Friday 25th January – 9.00am to 6.30pm
Saturday 26th January – 10.00am to 5.00pm
Sunday 27th January – 10.00am to 5.00pm
Monday 28th January – 9.00am to 6.30pm
Tuesday 29th January – 9.00am to 6.30pm
Wednesday 30th January – 9.00am to 6.30pm
Thursday 31st January – 9.00am to 6.30pm
To help our customers further, we have updated our KnowledgeBase and tagged some specific tax questions/answers that may prove useful to you. To review them, please visit our KnowledgeBase and search using the term ‘JANTAX’.
Specific features include:
- FAQs – A large library of questions and answers relating to our suite of software
- 24 x 7 – You can search it 24hrs a day, 7 days a week, so even when our offices are closed, this is still available to you
- Known Issues – Each software product has an up-to-date, bespoke known issues document
- Supporting Documentation – Following a quarterly release, all of the accompanying Release Notes/Installation Guides etc are published
- Webcasts – Following a quarterly release, accompanying webcasts are published. CCH Personal Tax 2018.3 webcast
To get the most relevant results, customers can refine their search to a specific software product or to certain kinds of answer (such as Articles, Documentation, Known issues or Webcasts).
Customers can access our KnowledgeBase directly from within CCH Central via Support > Support Centre > Knowledgebase or alternatively visit the CCH Software Support site and click on the KnowledgeBase tile on the homepage.
Note: We also have a CCH Personal Tax online training course for Partnerships, Trusts or Individuals. It covers Data Entry, Computations and other features via our new elearning centre MyLearningPortal.
Inevitably, demand for our telephone support service will increase throughout January. We recommend that you initially search our Knowledgebase to find a solution, however if you do not find the answer that you seek, please do contact our Software Support team.
Note for CCH OneClick users
If you are planning to activate CCH OneClick in January, please consider delaying until February if your Personal Tax team are already using the Digital Tax Accounts button (DTA). The replacement DTA feature in CCH OneClick has new functionality which your users will not have had experience with and we would not want the unfamiliarity of this feature to affect the speed of processing tax returns at this important time of the tax year.
