Matt Crook is the Managing Director for Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting UK. Having started his career in commercial roles, he has quickly progressed to hold a number of leadership positions. Matt has been with Wolters Kluwer for three years but has a pedigree of over 15 years’ in the tax and accounting industry. Responsible for the strategic direction and operational excellence of the UK business, Matt is dedicated to ensuring that customers are our top priority and that Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting UK delivers excellence through software and services at every touch point. Matt is a leadership expert who has been pivotal in bringing a fresh and dynamic cultural change to the UK business over recent years. Matt is passionate about the Wolters Kluwer Culture Programme which recognises excellence and supports the belief that everyone in the business is a leader.
Wendy Rowe is Head of Commercial at Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting, UK, where she is responsible for setting and delivering the product strategy. She holds an MBA from Henley Management College and is a Chartered Tax Advisor. Wendy’s focus is on how a business strategy and product vision can evolve through its customers and people. She translates customer needs into a software approach that solves pain points and provides new opportunities. Wendy leads a team of dedicated product specialists and encourages them to continue to develop their product set to meet the needs of customers tomorrow, today.
Kevin Renshaw is Chief Technology Officer at Tax & Accounting, Wolters Kluwer UK. He has 20 years’ experience in the IT industry, working with global businesses to define technology strategy and delivering enterprise products and services across the private and public sector. Kevin joined Wolters Kluwer from Capita where he was responsible for the development of all new cloud products and services within the IT Enterprise Services business.
Elaine Roche is Head of Customer Success with responsibility for our Professional Services and Customer Support Departments. Elaine has over 14 years of experience working in the software industry. Prior to Wolters Kluwer, Elaine was Director of Professional Services at Experian Data Quality. In her time at Experian, Elaine worked with a wide range of clients and industry sectors to ensure the successful delivery of their data quality solutions. Elaine started her career in Customer Support and progressed through a variety of training and consultancy roles before taking on the leadership of the Professional Services department.
Elaine is passionate about delivering a great customer experience be that when a customer has an issue with our software or when we are delivering advice and training on how to get the most value from our software. Elaine’s role at Wolters Kluwer is to ensure that we offer a great customer experience to our customers, be that through support, training or consultancy, in a way and time that allows our customers to be successful.
Sharon Chancellor-Maddison is Head of Marketing at Tax & Accounting, Wolters Kluwer UK. She has 20 years’ experience in large-scale marketing initiatives and transformation projects. Sharon’s focus is on marketing strategy and execution, specifically growing the brand awareness and credibility within the UK market, as well as driving campaigns to both existing and new customers. She holds a post graduate degree in advanced strategic marketing, international economics and finance.
Elise Sallis is Head of Communications Tax & Accounting, Wolters Kluwer UK where she is responsible for all internal and external communications. Elise has 20 years’ experience of B2B, Crisis and Corporate Communications and has delivered creative thought leadership campaigns for brands including Dell, IBM, COLT, Shell, Intel, Visa, LG and Dolby.
Having spent over two decades working within Public Relations agencies, she is an expert in influencer relations, internal communications, message and content creation and executive profiling but more importantly, Elise is obsessed with finding innovative and creative ways to tell the Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting UK story.
Sharn Manku is Human Resources Business Partner for Tax & Accounting (TAA) UK. In her role she will focus on talent, leadership and the organisational effectiveness of TAA UK including executing the talent strategy, developing and implementing strategic HR initiatives and ensuring that the organisational structure is as effective as possible.
Previously, Sharn spent seven and half years in a number of roles at HCA Healthcare UK, a group of world-class private hospitals, specialist clinics, outpatients and diagnostics centres and private GP services spread across London and Manchester.

Natasha Kobrak is Senior Product Manager for Cloud Applications and is responsible for seeing through the development of the cloud product portfolio in Wolters Kluwer UK’s Tax & Accounting division.
Natasha came to Wolters Kluwer from Xchanging where she was Product Director in their procurement division. She has spent the last 13 years working in cloud product management and her experience spans product development, product marketing, launch management and product strategy for a range of online enterprise solutions.
Evan Jones is Senior Product Manager for Practice at Tax & Accounting, Wolters Kluwer UK. His product range includes CCH Practice Management, CCH Document Management, Reporting and Workflow covering both existing on-premise and our future cloud products. Evan originally was an auditor before specialising in corporate IT systems for accountancy practices for over 10 years. He contracted to our professional services team for a number of years providing consultancy on Wolters Kluwer’s non-compliance, accounts, tax and online products.
Dean Shepherd is Senior Product Manager for Compliance at Tax & Accounting, Wolters Kluwer UK. He has over 20 years of experience as a practising accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser and is responsible for ensuring our compliance products continue to meet our customer’s changing needs. Dean joined Wolters Kluwer after selling his own practice that he built from the ground up over a period of 10 years.
Phil Thornton is Senior Product Manager and responsible for bringing our digitalisation strategy to market. Phil spends his time working with our customers to understand what becoming a digital practice means to them, what is happening in the market and to build solutions that will support our customers on this journey.
Phil’s primary focus has been to support the transition to Making Tax Digital. Phil has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the accountancy sector, having previously worked in-house as an accountant before moving into the world of commercial and product management. Phil believes that digitalisation will bring about many opportunities for the industry. Phil’s purview is to understand what those opportunities look like, deliver solutions to support this and work with our advisors to bring this to life within their practice and with their clients.
Paul Brace is Head of Business Development at Tax & Accounting, Wolters Kluwer UK’s software division. Before joining Wolters Kluwer, Paul was a general partner in practice for 15 years, leaving practice in 1993 to concentrate on developing a suite of software for accountants in practice. Paul has been with Wolters Kluwer since the acquisition of his company, PROacc Systems, in 2002. Paul’s specific area of expertise is audit and accounting.
Elite Avner Torbit is the Lead UX Designer at Tax & Accounting, Wolters Kluwer UK. Elite is focused on introducing design thinking methodologies that put our customers at the centre of the design efforts of our products. She is responsible for creating the space for everyone involved to be creative, experiment and collaborate every day, with the ultimate goal of delivering products that our customers will love.
